IDMS/mainframe migration to Linux and VB6 conversion products

Our good cooperation with Anubex, which has got some interesting projects, has further deepened.

In April 2010, Anubex completed its first IDMS/mainframe migration to a Linux environment.

The IDMS migration for the client, Swets and Zeitlinger, was extremely challenging consisting, among others, of ADSA structures, ADSO dialogs, OLM screens, DC and batch programs, code and edit tables and their data dictionaries. Furthermore, some REXX, CLIST, and ISPF programs were migrated in connection with the project.

As a new environment, DB2, Alchemy NetCOBOL, and Perl Red Hat function on Linux.

In April, Anubex got also some interesting openings in the field of VB6 conversion. The NETamorpher conversion products from Anubex move old VB6 applications directly to a VB.NT environment.
